There are a couple of reasons why my shop and this website is called Pops Art Studio. For many years now, I have been a stay at home dad, cleaning house and being a taxi for three children while my wife has worked as a doctor. It is hard to loose that identity when I returned to work outside of the home, so I brought it with me.

Foremost, I see my art is a calling, and a gift given to me by God. In Galations 4:6 we are told by Paul that "And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” The word Abba is word of endearment, more like "Pop" or "Poppa". What I do is for Him, with Him and from Him to be a blessing to You. The name is a dedication and a reminder of who I am, a "pop" to my wife and kids and a servant of my "Poppa" in heaven.
